🎯 Role Overview

Position: Engineer – QA
Department: Quality Assurance
Location: Bangalore, India

As a QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in quality assurance, precision machining, and fabricated components inspection to contribute to high-end projects in critical industries.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Inspection of precision machining and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Study and interpret technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure compliance during the manufacturing process.
• Perform regular calibration of tools and equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Handle TC verification for various components as part of the quality control process.
• Identify and report any quality discrepancies or potential issues, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate with the production and engineering teams to ensure that all quality standards are met at every production stage.
• Conduct routine checks on materials and components for quality compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for quality control and inspections, including reports, certificates, and compliance documentation.

📋 Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on inspecting precision machining and fabricated components.
• Familiarity with GD&T, calibration, TC verification, and other quality control methods.
• NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and Welding qualifications will be preferred.
• Experience in quality assurance for industries such as Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, or Nuclear is an added advantage.

Key Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of precision inspection and quality standards.
• Proficiency in GD&T and technical drawings interpretation.
• Experience with calibration and TC verification processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality issues.
• Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with teams.
• Ability to adapt to evolving industry standards and regulations.
