🎯 Role Overview

Position: Program Manager
Department: Program Strategy & Impact
Location: Bengaluru


πŸ’Ό Key Responsibilities

  • Design and align programs with organizational goals and frameworks like ESG, COP, and SDGs.
  • Plan and manage program budgets, monitor costs, and ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Develop standard playbooks for scaling and replicating programs.
  • Prepare documentation for various stakeholders including donors, government bodies, and internal teams.
  • Participate in external events as a brand ambassador of United Way Bengaluru.
  • Collaborate with institutions and third-party agencies for program certifications and evaluations.

Experience:

  • 10-12 years of work experience in program management, with a focus on strategic alignment.
  • Experience in social impact, CSR, or development sectors, particularly with ESG, COP, SDG frameworks.
  • Previous work in designing and implementing programs at scale is a plus.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in program design, planning, and budgeting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of partners, including institutions, corporations, and donors.
  • Expertise in risk management and compliance with reporting standards like BRSR and SROI.
  • Knowledge of MSW, MA in Development, or similar qualifications.
