🎯 Role Overview
- Position: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) – Supply Chain
- Department: Chain Management
- Location: Indiqube Subramanya Arcade, Bannerghatta Road, Bengaluru
- Reporting to: Senior Supply Chain Manager
As a GET, you will play a critical role in supporting our supply chain operations, learning the nuances of sourcing, supplier evaluations, and global supply chain processes. This position offers fresh graduates an exciting opportunity to kickstart their careers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
💼 Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, your main duties will include:
- Assisting the supply chain team in conducting supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to company and client standards.
- Collaborating with engineering and procurement teams to source engineered, made-to-print parts and assemblies.
- Providing support in optimizing supply chain operations by identifying and addressing inefficiencies.
- Preparing detailed reports, including supplier performance analysis and audit findings.
- Participating in cross-functional projects to enhance process efficiency and operational excellence.
- Gaining hands-on experience in global supply chain processes and contributing innovative solutions to challenges.
- Coordinating supplier visits and maintaining strong communication channels with vendors.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout the supply chain.
📋 Requirements
Experience:
- This position is open to freshers with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidates must be open to frequent travel for supplier visits and evaluations.
Key Skills:
- Strong foundational knowledge of supply chain processes and mechanical engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
