Position: Assistant / Deputy Manager β Human Resources

Experience: 10+ years in the manufacturing industry
The Assistant / Deputy Manager will be responsible for managing the HR function within the manufacturing environment. This includes overseeing talent acquisition, employee training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The role demands a proactive and dynamic individual capable of managing end-to-end HR functions for a manufacturing-based workforce.
πΌ Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant / Deputy Manager in the HR department, you will be tasked with the following key responsibilities:
- Talent Attraction & Hiring: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that the right talent is sourced for the manufacturing plant and other departments. Develop strategies for attracting skilled candidates.
- Training & Development: Create and implement effective training and development programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills for their roles and for career growth.
- Employee Engagement & Performance Management: Monitor employee engagement and satisfaction levels. Implement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and manage performance appraisals and feedback.
- Compensation & Benefits Management: Manage the compensation structure for employees, ensuring it is competitive and in compliance with industry standards. Handle the benefits program and ensure employees are aware of the perks and benefits they are entitled to.
- Compliance with Statutory & Government Regulations: Ensure that all HR activities comply with local labor laws and statutory requirements. Keep up-to-date with changing regulations to mitigate risk.
- HR Strategy: Assist in the formulation and execution of HR strategies that align with the companyβs objectives, particularly in a manufacturing setup.
- Employee Relations: Manage and resolve employee grievances and foster a healthy work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and productivity.
π Requirements
Education:
- Any Degree with specialization in Human Resources (MBA HR/MSW)
Experience:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in HR management in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in managing HR functions in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably with a focus on talent acquisition, employee engagement, training, and compliance.
Key Skills:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Kannada and English.
- Leadership & Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities to manage HR functions and a team effectively.
- Knowledge of Statutory Regulations: Familiarity with labor laws, compliance issues, and statutory regulations related to manufacturing.
- HR Software Proficiency: Familiarity with HR management systems and software, including payroll, attendance management, and recruitment tools.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle complex HR issues, employee conflicts, and grievances with a practical and solution-oriented approach.
Other Requirements:
- Male candidates only, due to the nature of the manufacturing setting.
- Age preference: Between 35 to 40 years of age.
- Willingness to work in Bangalore and interact with both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
