Position: HR Officer
Location: Dabaspet, Bangalore

Qualification: MSW (Master of Social Work)
Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in human resources
The HR Officer will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day office operations and overseeing administrative functions. This position will involve maintaining positive employee-management relationships, addressing concerns, managing labor relations, negotiating with unions, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. In addition, the HR Officer will be responsible for employee welfare, designing and implementing welfare programs, and managing various office operations, including procurement and budgeting.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Oversee Daily Office Operations: Manage the smooth functioning of day-to-day office activities, including administrative tasks, office support services, and procurement processes.

Employee-Management Relations: Foster and maintain positive relationships between employees and management. Address concerns and resolve issues related to work environment, compensation, benefits, and other employment matters.

Union Negotiations: Represent the company during union negotiations. Mediate conflicts, negotiate labor agreements, and ensure a harmonious working environment between the workforce and management.

Design and Implement Employee Welfare Programs: Create and introduce employee welfare initiatives and programs that promote overall employee well-being and job satisfaction.

Compliance with Labor Laws: Ensure that all HR policies, practices, and procedures are compliant with relevant labor laws. Conduct regular audits and ensure proper documentation.

Feedback Systems: Set up effective systems for gathering employee feedback on welfare programs and use this data to improve initiatives and address concerns.

Manage Office Budget and Procurement: Oversee budget management, ensuring that office expenses are tracked, and the necessary supplies are procured efficiently and within budget.
📋 Qualifications
Education:
- MSW (Master of Social Work) or equivalent degree in HR or related field.
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of HR experience, particularly in employee relations, labor relations, and managing HR functions such as performance management, compliance, and employee welfare.
- Labor Negotiation Experience: Proven experience negotiating with unions and handling labor disputes or conflicts.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR compliance practices.
- Skilled in employee relations and resolving conflicts between employees and management.
- Experience in managing union negotiations and addressing workforce issues.
- Ability to design and implement effective employee welfare programs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
