Job Description: Manager – HR, IR & Admin
Key Responsibilities:
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Union Experience is Mandatory: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and ensure smooth operations, resolving employee grievances and fostering positive work culture.
- Draft and issue disciplinary letters such as showcause notices, charge sheets, and warning letters.
- Conduct domestic inquiries, lead conciliations, and resolve grievances at the base level.
- Manage long-term wage settlements (LTS) and Collective Bargaining (CB).
Strategic HR
- Develop HR strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on organization development, succession planning, and standardizing processes and policies.
- Formulate and track manpower budgets, and department goals, ensuring smooth execution.
- Oversee Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects and generate HR metrics to aid management in decision-making.
- Manage Expatriate Operations: Handle travel, visa management, accommodation, and guest house operations.
Statutory Compliance
- Monitor and ensure 100% compliance with various labor laws including EPF, ESI, Factories Act, and others.
- Liaise with government departments for obtaining licenses, amendments, renewals, and approvals.
- Oversee statutory filings, ensuring adherence to deadlines for returns under various labor laws.
Talent Acquisition & Talent Management
- Plan and execute recruitment strategies for cost-effective hiring.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, salary negotiation, and onboarding.
- Drive the performance management system by implementing SMART goals and ensuring employee growth.
Desired Qualifications
- Education: Postgraduate degree (e.g., MSW, MBA in HR).
- Experience: 7–9 years in HR, Industrial Relations (IR), and Admin, with expertise in union handling and statutory compliance.
- Language Preference: Candidates fluent in Kannada are preferred.
