About the Role

Arcolab’s OneSource division is currently hiring a Manufacturing Executive / Sr. Executive for its Sterile Manufacturing unit located at the Stelis Plant – Unit II in Doddaballapura, Bangalore. This pivotal role focuses on overseeing the production of pre-filled syringes (PFS), cartridges, and sterile injectable products, all within a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sterile manufacturing processes, such as CIP/SIP skid operation, filtration, autoclaving, and working with equipment like isolators, lyophilizers, and single-use systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sterile Manufacturing Operations

• Oversee operations of isolators and related equipment in the sterile manufacturing area.
• Supervise the production of drug products (DP) while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

2. CIP/SIP Skid Operations

• Operate and monitor CIP/SIP systems for cleaning and sterilization of equipment.
• Ensure optimal operation during processes such as compounding, filtration, and more.

3. Lyophilizer and Isolators Management

• Work closely with lyophilizers, isolators, and single-use systems to maintain quality and functionality.

4. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with USFDA and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Assist in audit preparations and plant inspections to meet industry standards.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all manufacturing activities, in line with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

6. Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely, high-quality sterile injectable production.
• Train new employees on best practices and safety protocols.

7. Process Improvement

• Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Requirements: B.S, M.Sc., M.Pharm, or B.Pharm in a relevant field (Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Chemical Engineering).
• Experience: 2-6 years in sterile manufacturing, with experience in PFS, cartridges, isolators, lyophilizers, CIP/SIP systems, and other sterile injectable equipment.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in sterile manufacturing processes, regulatory knowledge (e.g., USFDA), and hands-on experience with equipment like autoclaves, compounding vessels, and filter integrity machines.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and regulatory bodies.
• Shift Availability: Willingness to work in shifts to ensure continuous production.
