🎯 Role Overview
Position: Production Supervisor
Department: Production, Manufacturing & Engineering
Location: Jigani, Bengaluru
Experience: 0–2 years
This role is an exciting opportunity for aspiring professionals in the pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing sectors. As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
💼 Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight:
- Monitor process activity records, PMS (Plant Maintenance Systems), and ensure all logs are accurate and updated.
- Maintain daily and monthly production targets through efficient planning and execution.

Housekeeping & Compliance:
- Take full responsibility for housekeeping standards and implement the 5S Rule rigorously across the shop floor.
- Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA compliance.

Material & Stock Management:
- Maintain raw material (RM) consumption within prescribed norms to optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct daily stock verifications and ensure all checklists are reviewed for accuracy.

Safety & Incident Prevention:
- Implement measures to prevent accidents, incidents, and batch failures during shifts.
- Promote adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards to maintain a safe workplace.

Training & Development:
- Organize weekly training sessions for supervisors, operators, and helpers on production practices, EHS compliance, and GMP principles.
- Encourage continuous learning and skill enhancement among team members.

Logbook Management:
- Maintain and verify FDA Equipment Cleaning Logbooks and Solvent Logbooks for every shift to ensure compliance.

Team Coordination:
- Efficiently arrange manpower to ensure smooth shift operations.
- Build a collaborative and motivated team dynamic to achieve production goals.
📋 Requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environments is preferred.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of GMP, FDA compliance, and 5S practices.
- Knowledge of raw material norms, EHS standards, and stock verification processes.
- Proficiency in maintaining logbooks and preparing training programs.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
Education
- UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering.
- PG: M.Pharma in Pharmacy or MS/M.Sc in Biochemistry (preferred).
