🎯 Role Overview

Position: Unit HR
Location: Bangalore
Language Requirement: Kannada & English

đź’Ľ Key Responsibilities

  • HR Best Practices: The Unit HR will be responsible for implementing and managing HR best practices across the unit. This includes overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Talent Management & Development: As the Unit HR, you will lead talent management efforts, including recruiting top-tier talent, onboarding new hires, and developing employee training programs to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles.
  • Performance Management: You will oversee the performance management process, ensuring that employees are regularly evaluated, and performance improvement plans are in place when needed. Supporting the leadership team in setting clear performance objectives will be crucial to drive company goals.
  • Employee Engagement: The Unit HR will also be tasked with creating and executing employee engagement strategies, ensuring that employees feel valued, motivated, and committed to the company’s success.
  • Change Management: Leading change management initiatives as part of the business strategy, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with organizational goals, is a key responsibility. The Unit HR will work to implement business strategies while managing the human element of change.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensuring that the unit is in compliance with all statutory and legal requirements related to labor laws, employment regulations, and HR policies.
  • HR Policies & Processes: You will assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, ensuring that they are aligned with the company’s goals and are communicated clearly to employees.
  • ERP/SAP Systems: The Unit HR will manage HR systems such as ERP/SAP to track HR data, streamline processes, and generate reports. Familiarity with such tools is essential to ensuring HR operations are efficient and accurate.

Education Qualification:

  • A graduate in any discipline, preferably with a background in manufacturing or similar industries, is required for this position.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, particularly in HR business partnership roles. Experience within a manufacturing or operational setting will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change management initiatives within an organization and aligning those initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing employee engagement strategies that foster a positive, motivated, and high-performance culture.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in HR policies, statutory compliance, and managing HR processes at the operational level.

Domain/Functional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance, including labor laws, government regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in HR fundamentals such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and onboarding.
  • Experience in preparing and controlling HR budgets, ensuring that HR operations are cost-effective and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems to manage HR data and reporting processes.
